- was revolutionary war soldier. So far there's no other indication of his revolutionary war service. This might be a mistaken reference to his uncle, Moses Clement (1738-1793), who Ancestry shows in a S.A.R. membership application.
- that he "died of apoplexy" (possibly a stroke).
- Children included four sets of twins: David and Daniel, Charles and Clarissa, Betsey and Richard, and Frederick and Fanny.
